Precautions
- Water Seal: Always use the water seal in place. It is the large ring around the outer diameter of the unit, located between the plastic dome and plastic base.
- Battery/Motor Compartment: Do not immerse in water or allow the unit to tip over in the birdbath.
- Metal Legs: Always use with metal legs installed.
- Debris: Keep algae, twigs, and leaves away from the stirrer to maintain battery life.
- Water Level: Keep water level at least 1/4” below the plastic base.
- Wet Compartment: If the battery/motor compartment gets wet, remove and dry the batteries and compartment.
- Battery Replacement: Change batteries when the unit stops creating waves.
- Winter Storage: Remove batteries and store the unit during winter to prevent freezing.
Directions
- Separate Dome and Base: Remove the screw on top of the dome to separate it from the base.
- Insert Wire Supports: Insert the 3 “U” shaped wire supports into the base.
- Attach Stirring Device: Press the stirring device into place on the motor.
- Insert Batteries: Insert two “D” cell batteries as indicated. The stirring device will start turning.
- Reattach Dome: Close the unit by reinstalling the screw on top of the dome.
- Water Level Check: Ensure the highest water level is at least 1/4” below the plastic bottom of the Water Wiggler. If necessary, raise the unit with a stable support.
Replacement of Stirring Floats
- Remove Stirrer Assembly: Take out the stirrer assembly from the bottom of the Water Wiggler.
- Replace Floats: Pull the wire guide out of the plastic crossbar, remove old floats, and place new floats on the wire guide.
- Reinsert Wire Guide: Insert the wire guide back into the crossbar and ensure it does not extend past the top edge.
- Remount Stirrer: Remount the stirrer to the Water Wiggler.
