# Heated Hose Instructions

## Items DH25 & DH50

### Specifications

- **DH25**: 25 ft., 180W, 120V, 1.5A, 60Hz
- **DH50**: 50 ft., 360W, 120V, 3A, 60Hz

### Important Information

- **Heat Output**: Protects water from freezing but heats stagnant water.
- **Thermostat Control**: Activates below 40°F (4°C) and deactivates around 40°F.
- **Wind Chill**: Position hose out of direct wind.

### Instructions

1. **Inspect**: Ensure no damage.
2. **Use**: Like a regular garden hose, avoid kinks.
3. **Plug In**: Use a grounded outlet with GFCI.
4. **Thermostat**: Keep exposed to outside air, shaded from direct sunlight.

### Safety Tips

- **Avoid Damage**: Do not leave plugged in without water.
- **Prevent Freezing**: Keep plugged in during cold weather.
- **Storage**: Drain water when not in use, store indoors after winter.
- **No Insulation**: Do not insulate the hose.
- **Proper Use**: Outdoor use only, no extension cords, inspect cord before use.
