Note on Wood Handles: Due to the natural tendency of wood to expand or contract with varying humidity conditions, we have purposely left a 1/4” step on
the wood handles. This step increases the diameter of the handle to
ensure a tight fit to the fork socket.
Steps for Assembly
-
Insert Handle:
- Wood Handles: Insert into the fork head socket, aligning the holes.
-
- Aluminum Handles: The fork head will be loose until all hardware is tightened.

- Wood Handles: Center the handle in the socket, ensuring about 1/4” of the hole is visible.
- Tap the bottom end of the handle on a hard surface to secure it.
-
Adjust if Necessary:
- If holes aren’t centered, tap the handle lightly to adjust and repeat the insertion steps.
-
Tighten Hardware:
- Insert the nut into the fork head with the nylon side facing out.
- Insert and fully tighten the screw using a Phillips screwdriver.
