Note on Wood Handles: Due to the natural tendency of wood to expand or contract with varying humidity conditions, we have purposely left a 1/4” step on
the wood handles. This step increases the diameter of the handle to
ensure a tight fit to the fork socket.

Steps for Assembly

  1. Insert Handle:

    • Wood Handles: Insert into the fork head socket, aligning the holes.
    • Aluminum Handles: The fork head will be loose until all hardware is tightened.
  1. Center and Secure:

    • Wood Handles: Center the handle in the socket, ensuring about 1/4” of the hole is visible.
    • Tap the bottom end of the handle on a hard surface to secure it.
  2. Adjust if Necessary:

    • If holes aren’t centered, tap the handle lightly to adjust and repeat the insertion steps.
  3. Tighten Hardware:

    • Insert the nut into the fork head with the nylon side facing out.
    • Insert and fully tighten the screw using a Phillips screwdriver.
